On 3^rd March 2010 Mr. Detmar Kampann, the General Manger of VOLVO Polska in Wrocław accepted the invitation of the Rector of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław. The main objectives of the visit included exchange of the experience connected with logistics and transportation, internships for students and the acquisition of information for students’ theses. Mr. Kampann was interested in our University’s educational offer and in starting cooperation with the University. He also expressed his interest in signing an agreement with MWSLiT in the nearest future and we hope that such a compilation of knowledge and practice will in future result in various mutual projects and general effective cooperation.

Mr. Andrzej Kalisz, the president of the Lower Silesia Employers Organisation visited our University on 17^th December 2009.

The meeting mainly concentrated on the topic of future cooperation, especially in the field of possible internships for our students in Lower Silesian companies. As a result of the meeting the cooperation agreement was signed.

On 17^th November 2009 our University signed a cooperation agreement with Power Plant Turów, represented by Mr. Roman Walkowiak, the company’s Board Manager. Our future cooperation will mainly concentrate on exchange of experience and internships for our students.
